Techlead has been in business of providing Software
Consultancy services including Analysis, Design, Development, Deployment and
Support for more than 20 years to overseas clients.
Techlead developed a highly successful world class product REFLEXIS
in the most competitive segment – Retail. The service was offered
to top retailers in web-hosting environment.
Three years back Techlead decided to use its vast
application knowledge base and high level of technical expertise to develop
products for Indian Customers. Education was identified as the key segment
which is bound to undergo dramatic changes with emerging Technologies
especially in the areas of hardware, operating system, communication and
mobile.

After years of committed efforts Techlead has successfully
Designed & Developed eTechSchool achieving the Objectives set forth as
explained earlier. Techlead continues to incorporate new features & tools
to enhance User Experience. eTechSchool has been successfully deployed for more
than one year at one of the most prestigious schools in Pune and we are in the
process of adding more Schools.
eTechSchool: Service based Charges
Techlead is ready to forgo “One Time License Fees” as
part of introductory offer.
Since School revenue model is student based,
most of the Schools find it convenient and logical to “Use the Service &
Pay” which is student based. There is no upfront commitment or risk.
This is ample demonstration of both our confidence in our
product and long term commitment.
Also there is no separate Maintenance fee.
Plus all upgrades & enhancements are FREE.
Service is provided based on the License Agreement with
all internationally accepted Terms & Conditions.
Considering the long list of advantages that can be derived
by all concerned – Teachers, Students, Administration, Management and Parents –
by deploying eTechSchool platform, the returns on investment (periodical
charges) are substantial both tangible and intangible.
We strongly believe that in many cases schools may be able
to reduce the costs and get better product / service and focus more on further
improving Quality of Education/ Attention given to Students.
We also have full-fledged Admission Module where we
charge on “Per Candidate” basis.
We are in the process of developing charges structure for “Content
Driven” modules like “Question Bank”, “Self Evaluation / Practice”.
This applies to curriculum Subjects and also to “Competitive Tests” like
MTS/NTS. But at the same time these
modules are made available as part of the current eTechSchool package (without
contents).
Our Recommendation:
For all the above Objectives / Reasons Techlead strongly
recommends that Schools avail of services of eTechSchool wherein eTechSchool is
web-hosted thru Techlead. Common Costs get distributed over number of Schools.
This way Techlead can provide better Support &
Maintenance Service.
eTechSchool has
built-in Error Reporting module which instantly sends Error Report to concerned
member(s) of eTechSchool Support Team. Team can then respond & rectify the
problems on THE server which is in full control of the Team.
Maintaining multiple copies of database design and
application software can hamper quality of service intended to be provided by
Techlead.
Also School IT team
can not be expected to support technical platform as outlined above. There are
also issues like SMS pack / e-Mail and other tools/services which may be
integrated in future.
There could be problems implementing enhancements and
software corrections on multiple versions / databases / servers.
